24 by 7 2007 Pinot Noir Germany

Germany's stab at a red wine. With a name like 24/7 you'd think they worked hard on this, but it has the feel of being "phoned" in. Their marketing blurb on the back makes it sound better that it is. Try Relax Cool Red instead. It's still from Germany, but better.

It's a clear, bright, pale, perhaps even shallow red to garnet wine. There's a little structure to the wine as well as some faint berry notes for your nose and palette, but little else. Sweeter perhaps than other Pinot Noir's you might have tried, with a low alcohol content and very low tannins. There are no off notes. The balance is OK but the finish is very short. Not really recommend for either sipping or dinner I'm afraid. Try elsewhere. Another better red from Germany is the Relax Cool Red. It's MUCH better.
