It’s a pedestrian wine, at best. Better for dinner than sipping by itself, perhaps. It’s one of many I’ve had of late. In a word, don’t Devour. It’s a clear, bright – after a couple of wine tours they all – pale to shallow straw yellow color. This wine’s biggest claim to fame might be it’s ordinariness. Not particularly sweet, not too oakey, not particularly aromatic, and not especially tasty. Its best description might be nondescript. There aren’t any off notes but really nothing that makes you want to go out and buy another bottle. In a word: DON’T. Grade: C Price: $11 Devour |
