Not an especially good effort here. Try the Tin Roof Cellars 2005 Cabernet-Syrah. It’s a better taste and price. It’s a clear, bright, medium ruby-violet colored wine with some berry notes. There is some moderate acidity and unfortunately some aggressive tannins that throw off the finish and balance. More time on the shelf might turn some of this around, but it’s a better effort than their Viognier. Grade: C Price: $25. Grape Creek |
