A good, cheap (or should I say inexpensive) Petite Sirah. And one of the better ones I've tried of late. It's a clear, bright deep violet colored wine with some nice, full berry notes with some definite legs. It's not too acidic or astringent and low in tannins. There is a nice balance here and a good finish. Definitely a sipping wine but could be used with the right dinner. Chicken or fish maybe. Huntington |
