It is a trio of Zin, Merlot and Cab grapes. Not a bad sipping wine, but serve it slightly chilled (the Zin part might need this more), decant and let it breath for 15 minutes or so, as it was much better. It’s got a clear, bright, deep violet color with not much structure to the wine. Bottled last year (a bit early for reds maybe) it has plenty of cherry notes for you nose that seem to follow through onto your palette. There’s not much beyond that however. The balance is good and the finish is medium and there seems no off notes, It is better if you let it breath for 20 minutes before consuming as this wine seemed to get better as I was imbibing.
