Upon opening, some definite cherry and berry notes, you’d expect this from a Cab. It’s got some good viscosity and nice, deep rich red. What you also got (similar to Yellowtail) is fair amount of tannins at the end that helps make for a lousy finish and an aftertaste that really puts you off. Aerating this wine helped the finish quite a bit but not enough to (for me at least) improve the score. Time might help this wine, it is a Cabernet after all, but I have my doubts.
