I liked this one better for dinner than sipping. But I’m not highly recommending it, even if the price is in my range. It’s a clear, bright but pale ruby-violet color with some berry notes that follow through onto your palette. Being a Cab, it’s drier and less sweet than the Shiraz from the same winery and it’s more astringent. It has an OK finish and balance, but not a lot else to write home about.
