AutoMoto 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon California

As far as the AutoMoto brand is concerned, perhaps the best of the rest. A very, very drinkable Cab for $7 a bottle. I just wish they would change the "bottle blurb" to something relavent!

A clear, bright medium to deep ruby-violet colored wine with not much structure to the wine but with a really great taste. There are some faint to midling berry notes for your nose, but what really sets this wine off others is it's astringency that seems to set your taste buds up for something almost but not quite etherial. Sure, there are big, relatively bold berry notes with this one, but also there also a lively balance and a medium to long finish. And the tannins seem to be very well modulated. Me likey, a lot. Suitable for getting really blitzed on, or serving with a relatively heavy dinner. At this point I think it could do either.
