Beringer Founder's Estate 2007 Chardonnay California

For the price, relatively drinkable, and better than the White Zin to be sure.

It's a pale yellow wine with some nice tree fruit (think mostly apple with some pear notes) for both your nose and palate. There's some oakiness, with an OK balance if short to medium finish and moderate dryness. A so-so sipping wine, it's probably better for dinner.

Our wines are a tribute to the Beringer Brothers who founded Beringer Vineyards in 1876. Those classically styled fruit-forward wines are had-crafted for your enjoyment. Our Chardonnay has bright green apples and pear flavors balanced with vanilla oak notes for a rich, silky finish. Serve with roasted chicken, pasta salads, or seasoned grilled seafood. Enjoy!
