Beringer 2005 White Zinfandel California

Well, if you’ve never seen a bottle of it, it’s definitely a blush color. Some might even call it pink. But it’s a delicate pink. Its viscosity is low owing to the low alcohol content. But it has no nose to speak of. Initially your palette notices the sweetness. There’s some fruitiness behind the sweetness but nothing I could really put my finger on. And that’s with the bottle warmed up to about 50 degrees, optimum temperature for a white wine. There’s no lasting impression of the finish either. You might consider serving it colder on a really hot day. With some work, you can do better than this.
