Beringers Founder's Estate 2007 Pinot Noir California

Drinkable, but only with a light dinner, for anything else, Nada. It's seems to be a Pinot Noir in name only.

There's little here for you to hang your hat on. It's a wine with a pale ruby color, no structure to the wine, with little nose and even less for your palate. There are some low tannins, low acidity, with a bit of harshness at the finish. Nothing seems to stand out with this wine, making me wonder if it's mislabeled.

Our wines are a tribute to the Beringer Brothers who founded Beringer Vineyards in 1876. Those classically styled fruit-forward wines are had-crafted for your enjoyment. Our rich and intense flavored Merlot is full of blackberry, plum and toasted spice flavors. It's the perfect complement to creamy pasta or your favorite grilled meats. Enjoy!
