Famega, isn't that Portuguese for "forgettable"? How forgettable? Silenus and I left a half a glass each to the wine gods.

Although the wine has some good color (violet) and, after the tannins blow off, a rather mellow taste, there doesn't seem much here to distinguish this wine. Nothing for your taste buds to grab onto. True there's an OK balance and finish, but the wine just needed so much more -- taste that is. Best for dinner, but just barely. Try their Vinho Verde white instead.
