Honestly, for the price, you can do better. The Sebeka 2006 Chardonnay I tried earlier is a better choice, and for less money, IMHO. Try that one instead. It’s got a clear, bright (don’t they all lately) pale yellow color with little structure to the wine. There are some faint tree fruit notes -- apple with maybe some pear -- with this wine, that follows through onto your palette, but only faintly so. There some light oak, moderate sweetness, a nice balance and a short finish. Overall, nothing special, but nothing terrible either. There were no off notes. Grade: C Price: $15 Wine Reviewed: |
