Grove Ridge 2007 Merlot California

For a $5 wine, pretty darn tasty I'd say. Chilling a must, with aeration optional.

It's a deep, clear, bright, ruby to violet colored wine. There are lots of berry notes for you nose that flow to your palette. It has some very low tannins that give you a good balance and nice finish and there is some well modulated acidity. Frankly, it's hard to believe it's this good for this price. I found this one at World Market.
