It’s called “Best foot forward” and it really seems to be. Not to sweet, not too dry, not to citrus, not any off notes, in other words, a nice drinking wine. It’s another one of my “field tests.” It was the white wine available on American Airlines at 34,000 feet. It has a clear, bright, straw color with some structure to the wine. Mildly citrus (grapefruit) as well as some mild fruit (apple/pear), this wine has a nice balance with a short to medium finish. It’s not overly dry. As I’ve said before, it’s a “porridge” wine, not to sweet, not too dry, not a lot of citrus or fruit tastes. A nice drinking wine. Grade: B Price: $10 Hayes Ranch |

Hyes Ranch Chardonnay "Best Foot Forward"
I enjoyed the wine on a flight back for Vagas and wanted to know if anyone can suggest where to purchase more here in CT?
Where to order wine.....
My suggestion is to order on-line.

can get you a list of wines and prices to boot. The rest is up to you. With any luck, CT allows wine purchases to cross state lines.

That wine isn't worth your shipping cost.

Since this posting was a couple of years old, I am not sure if you are still interested, or maybe you found a retailer in CT. I am only an occasional wine drinker, but every time I am in the Dallas, Texas area, I stop at one of the many World Market locations( also known as Cost Plus - World Market in some regions of the USA). I always try some of their inexpensive (dare I say cheap? ) wines to experiment with. The Hayes Ranch Chardonnay was very appealing to my taste. And for $5.99 sale price, a very good buy.

There are some other possibilities. Admittedly, you'd want to order more than a few bottles if getting this wine shipped in. Think a case of 12 here, or make a couple of phone calls to local wine merchants or grocery stores, they might carry it. The alcohol trade is a funny business, it varies from state to state. I have no good idea how it works in Connecticut. Good luck!

PS and I like World Market/Cost Plus for there "sales". I've seen some wines as much as 30% off from retail....
