What can be said? It's comes across as alcoholic grape juice (and a poor one at that.) You might consider a shot of Vodka to really liven things up.

It's a red with differences. Not as dry as most reds (low alcohol) and a rather sweet wine as well. If ever I thought someone used Mega Purple in something, this would be it. It's taste comes across as big, jammy and almost grape juice like with few other notes to the wine. It also had a rather undefinable smell that I could charitably call mineral or fresh. Look elsewhere.
