A rather tasty wine, I must say!

It's a clear, bright violet colored wine. But with some real berry notes and taste to boot. There's some moderate astringency to this one was well as acidity but it doesn't get in the way of enjoying the overall effect, which is pleasant to say the least. For the price I can't say you could do much better for a Zin. I'll probably go through the bottle in one sitting! Curses, Ironstone....
