I couldn't get my regular sparkling wine, so I went with this one. Not bad, but not a Zonin Prosecco either. The wine is a clear, bright yellow to straw yellow color with small if limited bubble production. Surprising as 20% of the wine is Pinot Noir, (apparently with no skins attached.) There's not much fruit with this one, although it has a nice finish and balance. It's a moderately dry wine, with unfortunately a aftertaste that leaves you wanting...for the aftertaste to stop. It feels like my taste buds are coated with something. Jacob's Creek |
