Messina Hof Barrel Reserve 2008 Pinot Noir Texas

Mmmmm, tasty. A smooth wine with a marvelous dryness to it. And a plus, if you finish a bottle or two a good chance you won't have a headache the next day.

It comes across as a "just right" Pinot. A wine with good deep purple color, some real body to it, lots of nice berry notes (raspberry?) for both your nose and palette, and a gentle dryness that is not too aggressive. The taste just seems to linger there for a medium to long finish. A definite sipping wine.

Our barrel reserve Pinot Noir is rich, soft and fruity with exceptional balance and a hint of vanilla.
