I liked this one better for sipping better than the Cab from the same stable. But I’m not highly recommending it, even if the price is right. It’s a clear, bright but pale ruby-violet color with some berry notes that follow through onto your palette. It’s a sweeter wine that their Cab version and not quite as astringent either. It has an OK finish and balance, but not a lot else to write home about. Grade: C Price: $8 Peregrine Hill |
