Perfect 10 Brunette 2007 California

A wine in need of taste transplant. For me it was a rather ordinary dry red wine.

Of the few pluses: a nice deep violet color, and at least some faint berry notes for your nose and palette, not especially dry and there's plenty of pucker at the end. The negatives: a somewhat mineral aftertaste, and an overall impression of a dry red wine, and not a spectacular one at that.
A wine better for dinner than sipping.
