Overall, a really nice Merlot. The years (all 6) have been kind to this one, yielding a very nice taste. Even so, you still might want to aerate this one before serving. Otherwise, enjoy! BTW, the price reflects a half bottle, not full bottle.

It's a clear, bright relatively deep violet colored wine. There are pretty impressive berry notes both for your palate and nose here and a bit of structure to this wine too. It's moderately dry (almost but not quite to a fault) with little sweetness and with a slight tannin kick at the end that moderates with some time (remember to aerate). All of this gives this wine a good balance and medium to long finish. Overall a good sipping wine and in a pinch a good dinner wine.
