Thistle Dew NV Shiraz - Mourvedre Australia

Well, honestly, a pale imitation of a Shiraz. I've tasted better and if your looking for a red to drink, try their Cab-Petit Verdot instead.

A clear, bright purple colored wine, with muted fruit taste, balance and a finish to match. For a Shiraz, not all that spicy either. And don't get me started about any aromas you might be able to discern. Not a prime time wine for sipping, and a bit thready for a dinner wine. But still, a wine with no real crazy off notes...

Similar to the Thistle plant found throughout the Australian countryside, this wine expresses characteristics of heartiness with Shiraz and the beauty with Mourvedre. This robust wine offers generous aromas of blackberry, cherry and savory spice with full, lush, dark fruit flavors [which ones?] which finish well balanced with soft tannins.
