Not your typical Merlot. Made unlike most Merlots, this one introduces the some of the juice at the end of the process to produce the sweetness within the wine. The highs: medium violet color, lightly dry, with a sweetness that is very much fruity thanks to their process, good balance, and well modulated tannins. Not too many lows as this is a specialty wine. It’s a wine that’s certainly not for dinner, a definite before or after dinner wine. My grade is for its specialty, not as a typical Merlot.
