Merlot

A wine worse than their Shiraz, you were warned. I found little to like about this wine.

The best of some recent Beringer wines I've tasted of late. I seemed to have gone through their whole suite.

This was one of those wines that tasted better to me at the wine tasting. When I got a bottle home and tried it, I had less enthusiasm for it....

Not your typical Merlot. Made unlike most Merlots, this one introduces the some of the juice at the end of the process to produce the sweetness within the wine.

It's not cheap enough for a cheap tart, nor tasty enough for a woodland nymph, so, in the unfortunate event you find yourself with this pale imitation of the nectar of the gods, drink deeply and quickly.
