Wood nymphs and water sprites, but not mountain denizens, will succumb to the charms of this nectar. It goes down easy, given its lack of complexity, but if you are a jaded old satyr you can use that to your advantage. Open this for your running mates and expect to be stoned. |

Another wine from the rather large stable of Gallo, and in a nutshell, it’s a girlie wine. The wine is cloyingly sweet like several Zins I’ve tasted, but with something that at least tastes like strawberry added. Two curious notes: it’s the only wine I’ve ever seen with a nutrition label, and the list of ingredients says it doesn’t contain any juice. So were exactly did the strawberry taste come from? |
