A wine more for dinner than sipping I think and consider using an aerator as well.

It's a clear, bright medium violet colored wine with a bit of structure to it (a bit o'legs.) There are some nice cherry/berry notes for your nose and palette with some moderate astringency, but not enough to make you feel you trekking through the desert. This makes for a good balance and a medium finish. A wine better with a nice rich dinner than sipping beforehand.
