Zonin 2007 Chianti Italy

Picked this one up as it's from the same people who bring you a nice Prosecco. This one is a distant runner up at best.

It's got a nice red color but unfortunately, no real nose to it. OK, some faint berry notes might be detected, but not much else. It is as it says on the label a very dry red wine. There aren't a lot of tannins to this one which helps this wine. In a word, sturdy, and best for dinner, not sipping.
